A Wild Idea…

Church in the Wild is building a joyful, honest, and deeply connected community. We gather around shared meals, meaningful questions, care for our neighbors, and a faith spacious enough for curiosity and growth. Here, children are cherished, every voice matters, and belonging is something we create together. Come as you are and help us build a life rooted in love, courage, wonder, and hope.

Church in the Wild is experiment in building an open faith community from the ground up. It’s a group for spiritual misfits, wanderers, and refugees who’ve struggled to find a spiritual community where they feel at home. Twice a month, we share dinner, ask real questions, care for one another, and serve our neighbors.

There are lots of reasons people end up in the spiritual “wild.” From firsthand experience, it can be tiring, isolating, and disorienting. Personally, I could use some people to wander with. We’re focusing on being an active, local Christian community centered on our neighbors, neighborhoods, and being of Service.

There’s a place for you at Church in the Wild: a place to serve, grow, learn and be known. We are currently gather twice a month in Stony Brook Ny. We share a meal together and strive to have a safe place for the journey. Come for a meal and see what we’re about. Click the link below to learn more.
